– Age-graded time is done for the exact year (with 2 decimal positions) of racer’s age, rather than by the 10-year age division the runner is in, calculated on WMA website, choose correct distance (e.g., “5 mile road” if a road, not track, race); fill in other appropriate fields, separating hours, minutes and seconds by colons; Ages are calculated to one one-hundredth because there is often such a closeness in age-graded times that a finer age-graded computation than 2-digit ages is more accurate. Plus, you get a faster age-graded time this way!
– POINTS for ONLY ONE GP RACE per MONTH are counted towards your total; if you run a marathon, half-m, or ultra, then the points for any one of those are to be used IN PLACE of that month’s GP race points – unless that race’s pts are higher.
Did We Miss You?
If you ran but don’t see your name here, please contact Tom or Eric by February 28th, the date beyond which GP points will not be awarded (contact us at grandprix [at] gfrcrun.com) Because this does happen — members not noticed in the results — the above point totals usually have to be considered tentative for 2 weeks.
